As a Trade Manager, you are responsible for developing and executing our trade plans. You provide the commercial forecast for the team and coordinate with the business to determine the necessary actions and promotions to achieve the set goals. You work daily in collaboration with marketing to create the best commercial campaigns and actions, ensuring they have a good return on investment (ROI). You ensure alignment with the entire organisation on these campaigns so that everyone knows what is planned and the impact it will have on their schedules.
Additionally, you are also responsible for creating plans for our peak moments such as Christmas and Mother's Day, ensuring that all departments come together to create a very strong commercial plan for those moments to achieve our objectives.
Tasks & Responsibilities
- You provide daily supervision of trade processes and related meetings.
- You manage the retail campaign calendar.
- You coordinate with marketing and content to ensure the translation of campaigns onsite.
- You make the campaigns measurable and provide analyses of the campaigns, examining the results and ROI.
- You determine the most effective promotion for each goal.
- You create a strong commercial plan for peak moments, coordinating with all departments to maximize the potential during these periods.
- You provide accurate forecasts for revenue and KPIs.
- You also ensure accurate delivery communication for each day, as well as during holidays and special occasions.
About You
- Relevant completed HBO/WO education, such as (commercial) economics.
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant work experience in e-commerce or retail.
- You are familiar with achieving targets and have strong commercial skills.
- You have above-average analytical insight and are highly proficient in Excel.
- You are capable of making data-driven decisions or recommendations based on complex data, turning analyses into concrete proposals.
- You have conceptual and systematic thinking abilities.
- You excel in managing processes and deadlines.
- You are skilled in stakeholder management.
- You have excellent command of Dutch and English, both written and spoken.
- You possess excellent written and verbal communication skills.
