Operations Specialist (Monthly Contract)
Location: Durban, KZN
Salary: R18,000 - R25,000 per month depending on experience
Shift: Monday to Friday with occasional overtime on weekends
Shift times: 16:00 to 01:00

Your Main Responsibilities Will Be:
- Support the Operations manager to arrange and execute all Zeelo services at the highest level
- Taking ownership of the creation and maintenance of all journeys in our backend system, ensuring that all journeys are built on time and according to plan
- Support with the booking and management of supply for new and existing propositions
- Assist with journey recons and ensure costs are recorded in line with actual bookings for invoicing purposes
- Working closely with operators to ensure vehicle and driver allocations are provided and are handed over to live operations team accordingly
- Support the live operations team by providing proposition briefs and regular updates to ensure they are well equipped to manage all live journeys and deliver customer satisfaction excellence
- Assist the operations manager with meeting all operations KPIs
- Picking up any day-to-day operational work by taking initiative to ensure the work gets done efficiently and effectively
You Should Have/Be:
- Minimum 2 years experience in an Operational role or similar
- A university degree or similar form of tertiary education
- Proactive nature - an ability to take initiative and ‘get the job done'
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities, plus a keen eye for detail
- Confidence when dealing with external operators, as well as, communicating well with the rest of the team
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English
