iOS Developer for a Dutch Scale-up ('s-Hertogenbosch, NL)
iotspot is looking for a native iOS (Swift) developer to improve and expand our PropTech platform. You will become part of a close-knit and experienced international team, at the forefront of developments around hybrid working and 'smart buildings'.
About iotspot
iotspot is a fast-growing scale-up with a hybrid office at an inspiring location in Den Bosch. Over the past few years, we have passionately developed our Smart Workspace Platform. Despite the fact that we are seen as headstrong and we occasionally say no, customers like to work with us because we deliver what we promise. These clients are large international companies who want to be attractive and environmentally conscious employers using our platform.
Your role at iotspot
In collaboration with enthusiastic colleagues, you will develop the platform, consisting of smartphone apps, a web-based portal, AWS serverless and IoT infrastructure. In doing so, we expect you to:
- Take responsibility for improving and extending the native iOS (Swift) apps in good cooperation with the Android developer(s);
- Pursue best usability and performance in consultation and coordination with product management, our AWS back-end specialists and occasionally with our hardware engineers;
- Deliver clean and functional code;
- Consciously and confidently handle hybrid working and in this, spend two or more days a week in the office with your colleagues.
Your profile
- You have experience as an iOS/Swift app developer, e.g. with Xcode, Eclipse, XML/JSON, SQLite, ObjectiveC/Swift, APIs or Git/BitBucket;
- You are able to apply development methods and not afraid to ask for help when in doubt about something;
- You are a team player, who enjoys thinking about our product by sharing your own experiences and ideas;
- You are self-motivated and can function effectively in a team environment, without hierarchy and with little supervision;
- You are always looking to improve and progress.
