JOB SUMMARY
- We are seeking to hire a Full Stack Developer. This position will work closely with academic and non academic representatives to implement specific and time sensitive requirements, adherence to timelines, and budgets.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- The developer will research, design, and implement technical specifications for projects based on user requirements as indicated in the scope of work, wireframes, and sitemap documents.
- Will oversee the development and maintenance of websites, intranets, applications, and other custom programming assignments where applicable.
- Develop new programs, analyse current programs and processes, and make recommendations where necessary.
- Cross functional collaboration with the Digital Marketing Team to co-develop and implement digital marketing campaigns, landing pages and other ad hoc departmental requirement.
- Provide analysis of current programs which includes performance, diagnosis, troubleshooting of problem programs, and designing solutions to problematic programming.
- Ensure projects are built to meet performance, security, and functionality.
- Perform backend/database programming is required.
- Always up to date on industry standards and incorporate where required and needed.
- Assist with testing, debugging, documentation, and overall quality assurance of projects.
REQUIREMENTS
- Bachelor’s degree or higher in Information Systems, Computer Science, related field, or equivalent industry work experience.
- At least 6-8+ years of experience with web content management systems, with preference given to WordPress familiarity.
- Seeking enterprise-level experience.
- Advanced knowledge and development experience in PHP, CSS/HTML, JavaScript, jQuery (and/or similar JS libraries), MySQL (or other database management systems) and Bootstrap.
- ASP and web servers (ISS/Apache) is a plus.
- Extensive experience in custom web application development.
- Ability to understand business requirements and the non-technical reasoning behind a decision or position, and present a clear, rational argument in favour of a proposed solution.
- Advanced troubleshooting and debugging skills.
- Ability to clearly and effectively communicate technical solutions to non-technical people.
- Strong communication skills and attention to detail.
- Ensure that website content and digital communications are accessible and compliant with ADA and other regulations.
- Stay up-to-date with emerging technologies, trends, and best practices related to website development, CRM, and email marketing.
- Preference will be given to candidates who are able start in a short notice.

Salary: RM5,500.00 - RM7,000.00 per month
