Security Solutions Architect - 1+ year contract - Mostly remote from Europe!

Next Ventures is partnered with a leading Financial Services client who is hiring multiple Security Solutions Architects on a 1+ year extendable contracting basis!

Join a cutting-edge Security Architecture department within the Chief Information Security Office, tasked with protecting and safeguarding valuable information assets. As a Senior Solution Architect, you will play a pivotal role in ensuring the successful implementation of end-to-end security solutions that align with business goals and IT objectives.

The ideal candidate will have:

• Experience as an end-to-end solution architect on large-scale transformation projects, delivering mission-critical transactional systems in complex organizations.
• Proficiency in working as an architect on large-scale agile projects.
• Ability to handle systems and challenges of varying complexity across functions, locations, and organizations.
• Strong analytical skills with the ability to provide pragmatic recommendations tailored to the company's context.
• Excellent communication skills to effectively advocate for architecture recommendations with project teams and senior business and IT stakeholders.
• Experience building relationships with other architects and various parts of the organization, coupled with mentoring and coaching capabilities.
• Proficient in English with additional assets including knowledge of post-trade market infrastructures (e.g. CSD), Enterprise Architecture frameworks (e.g. TOGAF, SAFE), and experience with Agile operating models.

This role involves a hybrid working model with 4 days office work per month (available across multiple European locations).
