Are you keen for a new challenge where you can make your mark on a world class tourism development?
Are you looking for an opportunity to work for Ngāi Tahu Tourism, one of the largest tourism operators in Aotearoa?
We are looking for an Kaiārahi Aroraki - Astronomy Day Guide - to join our team of guides. Someone who is a star gazer at heart and wants to share and develop their passion and help us connect manuhiri (visitors) to our stars, our place and culture through the art of storytelling. This is a unique opportunity to start your new career in Astronomy tourism and train alongside a team of highly professional and dedicated guides.
Our world-class Astronomy Centre on Takapō lakefront brings to life the science of stars and Tātai aroraki (Māori astronomy) through an immersive and engaging international experience. This experience is a world-first and compliments the range of outdoor experiences that we currently offer to our manuhiri visiting the region.
Our purpose is to make the connection - with our customers, through our people, to our place and to Ngāi Tahu.
We take great pride in warmly welcoming manuhiri to our experiences. Manaakitanga (hospitality) is one of the core values that drives the way we do business. As hosts, we care for our customers and our team as our own whānau.
