SHSO-Sutter Health System Office-ValleyPosition Overview:
Provides data security support and guidance to Sutter Health regions and affiliates. Represents the Identity and Access Management on project teams and other Information Security (IS) initiatives. Works with IS operation support departments to identify and recommend solutions on security-related issues. Provides hands-on security administration of a broad range of security duties and requires a high level of technical experience. Duties and responsibilities include, oversight of analysts performing provisioning and/or Epic IAM Security functions.Job Description:

EDUCATION:
Equivalent experience will be accepted in lieu of the required degree or diploma.
- Bachelor's: Business, Cyber Security, Risk Management or related field or equivalent education/experience
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE:
- CISSP-Certified Information Systems Security Professional within 1 Year of hire
TYPICAL EXPERIENCE:
- 5 years of recent relevant experience.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE:
- Working understanding of the anatomy of a cyber-attack in a healthcare environment
- Detailed understanding of typical healthcare business processes and data movement in a large healthcare system
- Thorough knowledge of information systems security concepts and current information security trends and practices including security processes and methods
- Thorough knowledge of Federal and state IS security and privacy-related regulatory requirements
- General knowledge regarding National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST), Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA), Federal Information Processing Standards (FIPS), and other recognized industry security standards. and best practices.
- Advanced level of computer proficiency with Microsoft windows workstation and server, Unix/Linux and network OS’s
- General Knowledge of software, hardware, databases, networks, firewalls, encryption, and other systems security devices, including a good understanding of end point operating systems (Windows and Linux), internet technologies such as Domain Name System (DNS), routing, Simple Mail Transfer Protocol (SMTP), Hypertext Transfer Protocol (HTTP), Dynamic Host Configuration Protocol (DHCP), and File Transfer Protocol (FTP), and familiarity in a command line environment.
- Preferred - Hands on development in at least on scripting language and or development language
- Technical skills in planning, administration, and management of information systems, operational and technical security controls, and security risk analysis and management
- Demonstrated ability to prioritize work while multi-tasking on assigned work.
- Proven ability to acquire an image, either remote or local to a workstation or server and demonstrate a forensics ability in the context of an active attack
- Written/verbal interpersonal communication skills with the ability to interact effectively with a broad and diverse group of peers, users, executives, patients, stakeholders and vendors by bridging the technology/clinical gap and promoting the use of information technology to solve business or clinical challenges.
Pay Range: $64.48 - $103.17 / hr
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location. This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled. Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
