About the Role:
Sitecore is experiencing spectacular growth all over the world. To build on Sitecore’s success and growth, we’re looking for a talented Instructional Designer to collaborate with subject matter experts and stakeholders in developing engaging technical eLearning materials, Instructor-Led Training, certification exams, study guides, lab environments, and performance support aids for Sitecore customers and partners worldwide. This hybrid role combines learning design and delivery, requiring the individual to occasionally conduct instructor-led training sessions as needed.

The successful candidate will play a crucial role in the technical enablement of the Sitecore Learning team and contribute to the growth of the Sitecore community at large.

What You'll Do:

• Manage end-to-end design, development, and release timelines of learning content for Sitecore products using adult learning principles and instructional design best practices to fit the needs of our learners within a fast-paced, continuous delivery environment
• Create new, update, and enhance existing training content and learning assets aligned to the product release cycle and competencies leading to credentialing/certification.
• Collaborate cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) across the organization to define competencies, learning objectives, outlines, and suitable assessment methods, designing learning experiences that align with role-based learning paths for Sitecore products.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and creativity to contribute to the development and implementation of new learning models and content design templates.
• Understand the importance of using various metrics to drive instructional strategy and use data collection, research, and analysis to evaluate project outcomes and improve learning content.

What You Need to Succeed:

• You are a learning and instructional design wiz! You have both formal knowledge and experience in instructional design and curriculum management, including building instructor-led training materials and multimedia assets such as graphics and videos for eLearning.
• You speak our language! You may not be a developer, but you have experience working with a SaaS-based CMS, eCommerce platform, or similar. What you know best is how to build learning content for technical learners, and you have done so in a similar environment.
• You are a detailed and independent project manager! You are committed to keeping yourself organized and can work independently to achieve design target timelines under conditions of multiple deadlines and changing priorities.
• You collaborate across the organization! Experience working cross-functionally with Subject Matter Experts (SMEs), multiple teams, and stakeholders in a product-centered environment.
• You have a flair for writing in English—and can keep it concise and structured! You can write effective copy, technical and nontechnical instructional text, and support audio scripts/video scripts.
• You know the tools! You have experience working with industry-standard eLearning development tools, including Articulate 360, Camtasia, and Adobe Creative Suite, among others.

Additional Skills That Could Set You Apart:

• Familiarity with SCORM, online learning, learning technology, instructional, graphics, and/or web design or development skills using various tools/software (Articulate, Captivate, or similar); as well as LMS platform.
