PURPOSE OF THE JOB :
- Drive Accor’s strategy into all of its areas of responsibilities
- Manage and optimize operations on behalf of the owner both:
. on margin
- Ensure the deployment of and compliance with brand standards
- Be recognized as a key local contact with the various stakeholders
- Be a driving force behind innovation and transformation
- Responsible for the fees development within his perimeter through the performance of his hotels and the development of management
PERIMETER
Functionnal report to a Senior VPOM in the team of Managed AccorInvest hotels in Southern Europe
You will have responsibility for a network of 20 to 30 hotels (depending on size and location)
Frequent travels in France
MAIN ACCOUNTABILITIES:
- Operations Management
- Facilitates synergy between departments to ensure better consistency with the brand
decisions.
- Leads the relationship with the GM.
- Leads and challenges performance related to operations, customer experience and
- Contributes to the development of the local relationship network (communities...).
- Budget and performance
- Advises and supports the GM into the preparation and presentation (with the help of
- Recommends the implementation of distribution / pricing / marketing strategies for the
- Supports the GM into the preparation and presentation of performance reviews to the
- Relationship with the owner’s representative
- Is responsible for the proper application of the management contract within its scope
- Proactively manages the relationship between the Owner and his representative /
operational teams and the GM through regular meetings (quarterly as needed) with the
VPOM
- Shares feedback with the GM on implementation and property related items
reviews.
- Accor Representation
- Is the point of entry between support teams and the GM in his/her area.
- Acts as an ambassador for Accor to ensure the company's image, reputation and build
- Is business oriented, customer service oriented and seeks to provide maximum value
distribution,...).
- Prescribes Accor service offerings to hotels based on their needs.
- Management and Leadership
- Coaches and mentors GMs for their professional development.
- Engages the GM into the implementation of Accor’s T&C policy.
- Accompanies the owner’s representative in the evaluation of the GM's performance.
- Search, select and propose candidates for the position of GM according to the needs
- Proposes the amount of variable compensation, salary increase and development plan
- Supports and advises on the quality of social dialogue in the region with the support of
QUALIFICATION / COMPETENCIES:
- Business School / Hotel School
- Communication skills / good relationship
- Source of proposals, leads development and support of the operational and commercial strategy.
- Has operational and topline experience (sales, distribution, RM and marketing).
- Good negotiation skills and persuasion skills
- Knowledge of the network
- Good financial knowledge, able to analyze financial performance and understand its operational and commercial implications
- Previous successful experience in functions related to operations, sales development, management, network animation.
